Perth Thunder: Sam Wilson
Widely seen as one of the toughest players in the AIHL, the Perth Thunder’s Sam Wilson may not be setting the world on fire recently with his point scoring, the inspirational skipper has been a great leader on the ice. And when he has scored, they have been at important goals with his three goals this season including a power play goal and two game-winning goals.
Newcastle North Stars: Dayne Davis
North Stars goalkeeper has been strong in 2015. A recent permanent resident, the goaltender is in his second season of AIHL action and his first since 2009. The goalie with the most number of wins in the league at 10 has pushed his SV% to just under 0.900% for the season with four of his last five games saved at above 0.900%.
