The Adelaide Adrenaline would like to advise its sponsors, members and supporters that the club has raised a protest with the league regarding the use of ineligible players by multiple teams across multiple games.
The club filed a request to the league for further information on the 30
th of July and when information requested wasn’t provided in a timely manner, the club followed with an official protest on the 6
th of August.
The Adelaide Adrenaline believe that the league rules and regulations may have been breached by multiple teams and the penalties for such breaches would impact the upcoming AIHL Finals. The club has requested for this protest to be addressed immediately to ensure that the AIHL Finals can proceed with all matters closed and any breaches addressed as per the competition rules and regulations.
The Adelaide Adrenaline will make no further comment at this time.
