AIHL announces 2025 season schedule

The AIHL is pleased to announce the 2025 season schedule is now available for public release. 

Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2025, the AIHL will bring you 155 games across the nation with all ten teams once again in pursuit of the Goodall Cup.

The following changes to the season format have been voted on and approved by the Board of Directors and the Team Governors:

• The conference format has been removed and the league will revert to a single ladder of ten teams
• The AIHL finals format will consist of the top six teams progressing through to the finals, with the exact format to be confirmed by the Board before the end of 2024
• The AIHL will play through the week of the IIHF World Championships at the O'Brien Icehouse (April 27th to 3rd May) with all games scheduled outside of Melbourne during this period
• The Adelaide Adrenaline and Perth Thunder will both play one weekend each consisting of three straight road games

The league is currently upgrading its IT assets which impacts scheduling, with this work anticipated to be completed by the end of November. As a result, the schedule is not currently available from the AIHL website but has been made available to the teams and now the fans.
