AIHL announces changes to board structure

The AIHL would like to announce several recent changes to its board structure ahead of the 2026 season.

At the recent Annual General Meeting, the Chairman Peter Jon Hartshorne, Director Garry Dore and Independent Directors Bob Turner, John Hollingsworth and Ron Gauci retired from the AIHL Board of Directors. Peter and Garry will continue to be involved with the AIHL as Governors of the Melbourne Ice and Newcastle Northstars respectively.   The AIHL would like to thank all directors for their support and service to the league.

At the AGM, two new Directors Jamie Taylor (Governor for the Adelaide Adrenaline) and Dan Hogan (Governor for the Sydney Ice Dogs) were appointed to the AIHL Board.

The current Board remains committed to the:

• Continued growth of the most exciting sporting league in Australia; and
• Continued growth of our media presence not only in Australia but growing the hockey markets overseas.

The current members of the AIHL Board of Directors are:

• Chairman Dan Hogan (Governor - Sydney Ice Dogs)
• Deputy Chairman Ivan Rapchuk (Governor - Brisbane Lightning)
• Company Secretary Joyce Price (Governor - Melbourne Mustangs)
• Executive Director Jamie Taylor (Governor - Adelaide Adrenaline)
• Wayne Hellyer - Non-Executive Director
