Walker scores 11 seconds in as Blues defeat Sharks

Nathan Walker scored 11 seconds into the game as the St Louis Blues downed the San Jose Sharks 3-2 at the Enterprise Center on Thursday night.

The Aussie took a pass from Radek Faksa and stuffed a one-time snapshot past Yarsolav Askarov in the San Jose net for a 1-0 lead, just moments from the opening face-off. The Blues went on to win the game 3-2 in a shootout.

It tied the record for 6th fastest goal in St Louis Blues' history.

 

The goal was Walker's 3rd of the year and now has 5 points in 16 games on the Blues' 4th line.

St Louis will now head on the road to play the Islanders on Saturday night.
